Last week, Sir Paul McCartney returned to the venue that made him.
The legendary singer played an intimate gig at The Cavern Club in Liverpool, the birthplace of Beatlemania. The band played there nearly 300 times in the early 1960s.
The original club closed back in 1973, but reopened nearby. Sir Paul McCartney has only played there once since the 1960s, for a gig in 1999.
