John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Kanye West, George Michael, Rihanna, Brian Wilson and many more – Paul McCartney has collaborated with an incredible list of music superstars.
And now you can add The Wombles to that list, as McCartney has hooked up with the Wimbledon Common gang to create some new music to promote Meat Free Monday.
The Wombles have created two family-friendly plant-based dishes to coincide with the COP26 climate change conference, and the former Beatles man has written the song playing during the YouTube videos presenting the recipes.

The recipes are Madame Cholet’s Chilli Non-Carne and Tobermory’s Corn and Courgette Fritters, and they mark The Wombles continuing involvement in the #OneStepGreener campaign.
Great Uncle Bulgaria said: "We love the Meat Free Monday campaign. Reducing the amount of meat we eat is good for the planet, good for animals and good for our health.
"We hope that the super tasty recipes created by Madame Cholet and Tobermory will encourage everyone to go meat-free for at least one day a week."

The Wombles have already starred in other films urging people to go greener by reusing and upcycling, planting trees, travelling smarter, growing and eating food in season, and creating wildlife-friendly gardens.
The idea of Meatless Mondays was first launched in the US in 2003, and Paul McCartney and his daughters Stella and Mary launched the Meat Free Monday campaign in June 2009.
The Wombles came aboard with the project last year with their plant-based recipes for Madame Cholet’s Cassoulet, Bulgaria’s Beetroot Burgers, Tobermory’s Tofu Scramble and Wellington’s (lentil and vegetable) Wellington.
