When Rod Stewart reunited Faces at the start of the decade, there was the tantalising promise of a full tour as well as their first album since 1973's Ooh La La.
We've not heard much about that in the last couple of years as Rod has kept busy with his solo career and Ronnie Wood has been working the dayjob with the Rolling Stones, not just touring the world but even releasing the Hackney Diamonds album packed with newly written material.

After giving Joel a hug, Rod – who recently recovered from a bout of COVID – said: "'Stay With Me'! Faces! 1972!"

Billy Joel has made a habit of offering a bit of value to fans with co-headlining tours in recent years.
As well as performing alongside Rod, he has played massive shows with Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks and Sting.
