Mick Jagger returns to the stage for the first time since having heart surgery

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has returned to the stage for the first time since his heart surgery.
Jagger has taken to Instagram to share a picture of himself during rehearsals ahead of Friday night's Rolling Stones concert in Chicago.
He can be seen beaming in the picture which he captioned: “Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow! #stonesnofilter.”
Fans were naturally excited to see Jagger looking fit and healthy, back on stage — exactly where he belongs.
Earlier this year, the 75-year-old rocker left fans concerned after his bandmates were forced to reschedule their concerts as he underwent heart surgery.
At the time, the band released an official statement in which they announced the postponement of their upcoming US and Canada tour dates.
The statement read: “We apologise for any inconvenience this causes those who have tickets to shows but wish to reassure fans to hold onto these existing tickets, as they will be valid for rescheduled dates, which will be announced shortly.
“Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment. The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible.”
The Rolling Stones frontman made a speedy recovery, delighting his loyal fans by posting a video of him practising those iconic dance moves in May.
In Jagger's first interview since the surgery, he told Toronto based radio station Q107 that he’s feeling pretty good and it’s been business as usual following his operation.
Jagger said: “Been rehearsing a lot lately in the last few weeks … This morning I did a bit of gym. Nothing crazy. Then I go into rehearsal with the rest of the band.”
“We’re trying to pick some ones we haven’t done in recent years, stuff we haven’t done before.”
