The Rolling Stones push back plans for UK shows later this year
The Rolling Stones kept busy last spring touring North America in support of their long awaited studio comeback Hackney Diamonds, with 20 massive shows in the US and Canada.
But it's been three long years since they played back home in the UK, when they performed two homecoming shows at London's Hyde Park and a set at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium.
Earlier this month it was widely reported that The Rolling Stones would return once more to play four massive stadium shows at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, the shows would have been part of a European tour of Hackney Diamonds that will also take in dates in Amsterdam Barcelona, Paris and Rome.
However, new reports today (January 31) suggest that while such plans existed, they have now been cancelled or postponed.

Sources told The Sun that despite intense negotiations with promoters, it wasn't possible to make the dates work for 2025.
There are apparently still hopes that the band will be able to return to the UK and play the rest of Europe too in 2026, when Mick will be 82 or 83 years old.
