The Beatles are about to soar to the top of the charts once again.
By this Friday (October 4), Abbey Road could take the number one spot, knocking Liam Gallagher's Why Me? Why Not into number two.
The band’s album, featuring the iconic zebra crossing album cover, looks set to return to the top spot 50 years after it was first released.
Originally, the album spent 17 weeks at number one after its release in 1969, 11 of them consecutively.

The album was the result of the Fab Four’s final recording sessions in which all of the band took part before they split.
Released September 26, 1969, Abbey Road was not The Beatles’ final album, as Let It Be followed in 1970, however, it was the last one recorded together as a band.
John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Sir Paul McCartney and George Harrison’s music lives on thanks to a 50th anniversary edition which includes previously unheard material.
If the album continues its selling pattern this week, it will be the band's first number one album since the 2000 compilation, 1.
THE BEATLES REVISIT ABBEY ROAD WITH SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY RELEASES
Behind The Beatles and Liam’s album is Lewis Capaldi's former number one Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent record.
It comes after it was revealed The Beatles’ John, Ringo, Paul and George were set to record another album following the release of Abbey Road.
In newly discovered tapes, recorded for a poorly Ringo who couldn’t make the meeting, John, Paul and George can be heard discussing a follow-up album.
