Tom Jones continues to Defy Explanation.
Tom Jones has performed all over the world in his six decade plus career, but in some ways it feels that Las Vegas will always be something of a home.
He made his debut on the Strip back in 1968 when he played The Flamingo and in the years since has returned to Vegas several times over to wow crowds as a top headliner
Jones played a couple of shows at the Encore Theater last September and that's where he's playing on his return to Las Vegas later this year.
He'll play the venue on May 14, 16 and 17, 2025, the Las-Vegas Review-Journal reports, in a trio of shows billed as Tom Jones: Defy Expectation.
Tickets are available from this Friday (January 31) at 9am Pacific Time.
Naturally Jones plays a career-spanning set at his Vegas concerts, though he still has space for numbers from 2021's critically acclaimed Surrounded by Time album.
His last show at the encore had the following setlist:
Sir Tom wrapped up his globetrotting Ages & Stages tour last year but assured fans that he had no plans to retire just yet.
"You all know how much I love to do what to do, and to share that space with you, there is nothing better," he said.
"We close this chapter after performing 74 shows in 24 countries this year! (Not bad for a pensioner). We'll see you again, so until the next time, keep healthy and happy and keep the joy of music in your life."
