Simon & Garfunkel were one of the all-time great musical duos, but they haven't shared a stage together since all the way back in 2010.

In the years after the split, Art Garfunkel continued to showcase his stunning voice at his solo shows, and on a few memorable occasions he drafted in a very special guest to lend a hand.

It turns out that Art's son James Garfunkel is also a singer, who sometimes adopts the stage name Art Garfunkel Jr, and they performed together often over the years.

One of their finest collaborations came at the Uptown Theatre in Napa, California in 2019.

During that concert, Art and James performed a cover of The Everly Brothers' 1958 track 'Devoted To You', one of the Everlys' many classics written by the team of Felice and Boudleaux Bryant.

At the show, the Art and James were backed on stage by Tab Laven on guitar and Paul Beard on keyboard.

As duos famously beset by occasional bouts of feuding, Simon & Garfunkel share a few similarities with The Everly Brothers.

Paul and Art even invited Phil and Don on stage during their 2003-04 Old Friends tour to perform a clutch of songs in the middle of their set.

Art Garfunkel seemingly retired from touring last year after having to cancel a series of planned shows.

Paul Simon has recently hinted at a return to the live stage, despite suffering from hearing loss and having retired from touring back in 2018.
