Rollers Forever will launch at the Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow in 2025.
A new stage musical is opening next year featuring the classic songs of the Bay City Rollers.
Appropriately, the production will launch in the band's native Scotland, when it opens at the Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow, the Glasgow Evening Times reports.
Called Rollers Forever, the musical kicks off on August 18, 2025. Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 29, 2024 at 10am.
Written by Danny McCahon and directed by Liz Carruthers, the production has the seal of approval from the Rollers themselves, with guitarist and sole classic member in the band's current lineup Stuart 'Woody' Wood being its artistic consultant.
There isn't a complete running order of the songs in the production available just yet, but it's been confirmed that it will include the hits 'Bye, Bye Baby', 'Keep On Dancing', 'Shang-a-Lang' and 'Summerlove Sensation'.

"This is going to be a lot of fun and I can't wait to see all the fans rockin' the tartan at the shows and having great fun singing along to all the hits," said Stuart.
"Get your tartan on and 'Keep On Dancing' (and a prancing)."
Writer Danny added: "When I was approached to come up with an idea for a play incorporating the music of the Bay City Rollers, I saw it as an opportunity to write about the most important people in pop – the fans.
"The result is a show about the fans for the fans, packed with some of the greatest pop music ever created. It's been an absolute treat to work on."
The Bay City Rollers had their roots in the 1960s when brothers Alan and Derek Longmuir started playing together.
By the time they released their first album Rollin' in 1974, the lineup included the Longmuir brothers together with guitarists Woody and Eric Faulkner, and frontman Les McKeown.
The current touring and recording lineup of the Bay City Rollers features Woody alongside new members Ian Thomson, Jamie McGrory, Mikey Smith and John McLaughlin.
