The Police's Stewart Copeland: 'Sting was an arrogant "Lion King" from birth, but a golden shaft of light'
Billy Joel and Sting kick off a co-headline show with a remarkable duet.
Billy Joel very much seems to be enjoying himself these days, having just released his first new music in 17 years while inching towards his 150th performance at Madison Square Garden.
All the while he's continued touring, and is currently on the road in the US with support on various dates from Stevie Nicks and Sting.
The shows with Sting have been billed as co-headlining dates, and what better way to underline that than for Billy to introduce Sting on stage, before joining him for his opening number at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
"Stick around and sing with me," Sting asked his touring buddy, and Joel was more than happy to oblige.
The pair performed The Police hit 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic', before Joel took his leave to prepare for his own set later that evening.

And during Billy Joel's own set, Sting returned the favour from earlier in the evening by joining him for a run through 'Big Man on Mulberry Street'.
While he has stopped performing the controversial 'Don't Stand So Close To Me', Sting's setlist was packed with career-spanning hits.
