Bonnie Tyler has revealed she wants to release a duet with Sir Tom Jones after the pair both took to The O2 Arena stage to perform at last night's Music For The Marsden concert.
The star-studded line-up, which also included Eric Clapton, Van Morrison and Mike Rutherford, raised almost one million pounds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Speaking exclusively to Gold backstage about fellow Welsh act Sir Tom, 79, Bonnie smiled: "He’s fabulous, oh I’d love to work with Tom again. I did work with Tom in the 70s.
"We worked in Los Angeles and did a few shows over there. Of course, I was just a support act… not that he needs one. But I was there anyway and he was amazing.
"But he’s just stronger than ever and his voice is amazing. He looks so good as well. He looks great with his grey hair now. I’m not brave enough to show mine yet, I still put my streaks in!
"I would love to work with Tom Jones. I would love to do a duet with him. You never know, if I bump into him later I might ask him one time. We might see him later on!"
The 68-year-old revealed she is set to release new music of her own this year, as well as going on tour.
"I've just finished a new album. I haven't got a title for that yet but I've got some cracking songs on there. One of them is written by Desmond Child who writes with Jon Bon Jovi and he wrote 'Livin' on a Prayer' and 'Livin' La Vida Loca'. Those are just two of the mega songs he's written."
Bonnie also went on to explain how she decides which songs appear on her albums, noting it needs to give her "a tingle".
The singer said: "If it gives me a tingle when I hear it, then I like it. I've got some cracking songs.

"I've just finished that and I'm waiting to hear when the record company want to release that. They're in a bit of a quandary at the moment whether they're going to release the live album that I did in Paris last year. Live at the Olympia. Or put the new one out."
"I've got a huge tour coming up now, I'm doing South America this year. I've got a big tour over there. I'm doing that for the first time. Scandinavia, all over Europe. I've got a great band that have been with me for over 25 years.
"My band are fabulous and we really enjoy the gigs. My husband travels everywhere with me. Living out of a suitcase, or three, or four is the worst part.
"The worst part is the traveling, and now with the Coronavirus you're washing... my hands are so sore... I must have washed my hands about 40 times today alone. I hope somebody gets a vaccine for that soon though!"
Zucchero and Paul Young also teamed up for the charity concert, with Bonnie overhearing the rehearsal for 'Senza una donna'.
Bonnie said: "I wanted to see him [rehearse] but just as I was going to watch him, they called me. But I did meet him!
"He put his hand out to meet me and said ‘Lovely to meet you.’ And I said, ‘I’d love to do a duet with you one day!’
"‘Why not?’ he said. I’ll see him later probably!"
