Bruce Springsteen has released 21 "proper" studio albums in his career, the most recent of which was 2022's acclaimed collection of soul classics Only the Strong Survive.
Hardcore fans will also be well aware of plenty of other Bruce releases worth having, too.

- Bruce Springsteen's Vietnam intro to 'The River' is one of the most tear-jerking moments in rock

As well as countless live documents released over the years, Bruce has treated us to expanded re-releases packed with outtakes and alternative versions of songs, like 2015's The Ties That Bind: The River Collection.
Best of all was the 4CD Tracks collection in 1998, which collected 66 songs that filled the gaps between the albums, many of which had never been released before.
Bruce is going much, much further with his next archival release, the absolutely massive Tracks II: The Lost Albums, which compiles seven (seven!) full albums.

The collection features recordings dating from 1983 to 2018 and is made up of mainly unreleased material.
Tracks II: The Lost Albums will be released on June 27 as a 9LP/7CD collection, as well as digitally.
The physical version features a 100-page cloth-bound, hardcover book featuring rare archival photos, liner notes on each lost album from essayist Erik Flannigan and a personal introduction on the project from Springsteen.
If that's all a bit too much, a 2LP/1CD taster Lost And Found: Selections from The Lost Albums featuring 20 tracks will also be available.
"The Lost Albums were full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released," said Springsteen.
"I've played this music to myself and often close friends for years now. I'm glad you’ll get a chance to finally hear them. I hope you enjoy them."
'Rain in the River' from Perfect World is available to stream now.
