Donny Osmond is returning to Joseph for a UK tour: Dates, venues and tickets revealed

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will kick off its second UK tour with a special limited engagement at the Edinburgh Playhouse this Christmas season.

Donny Osmond returns to play Pharaoh, who performs ‘Song of the King’ in the iconic musical, with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. It will be his UK debut in the show.

Tickets go on general sale today tomorrow (February 22) at 10am.

There will be 36 performances from Tuesday, December 3 to Sunday, December 29, including matinees. Full dates and times can be found here.

Following a triumphant week at the venue during its 2022 tour, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat returns to the Edinburgh Playhouse.

In a career spanning six decades filled with remarkable achievements—including selling over 100 million records, earning 33 gold records, headlining a record-breaking Las Vegas residency, and entertaining millions of fans worldwide—one of Donny's standout roles remains his portrayal of Joseph in the US and Canadian productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

From 1992 to 1997, Donny dazzled audiences with over 2,000 performances in the lead role, a portrayal immortalized in the 1999 film adaptation filmed at Pinewood Studios, alongside Joan Collins, Richard Attenborough, and Maria Friedman.

Returning to the UK stage following his recent acclaimed performance in Michael Harrison's Pantoland at the Palladium, Donny Osmond once again captivates audiences, this time as The Wizard of Pantomime.
