It should have been a day to celebrate with his entire family.
On Friday 3rd May 2024, Frankie Valli was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, being added the upper echelons of celebrity due to his illustrious career with the Four Seasons.
The 'Grease' singer was joined by his twin sons Emilio and Brando, along with his loving wife Jackie.
"This is really a highlight of my life, especially having my sons here and my wife sitting right there," he told the crowd. "Could you please stand up, guys?"

Accepting the honour from behind the iconic podium, the music legend (now a remarkable 90 years old) thanked his wife and children.
But as they posed for pictures, there was one of his children who was missing from the lineup: Frankie's eldest son Francesco.
That's because Frankie was granted a permanent restraining order against Francesco on 29th April, which will last for three years until 29th April 2027.
After a hearing in Los Angeles on Monday, the temporary restraining order that was originally filed became permanent, with Francesco not being able to contact either Frankie or Emilio and having to stay at least 100 yards away from their homes and workplaces.
According to People magazine, Emilio said that he and his father Frankie feared for their safety after Francesco attempted to break into Frankie's property on 5th April 2024.
Whilst waiting for law enforcement to arrive to the scene, Francesco reportedly "repeatedly physically threatened to harm or kill" both Frankie and Emilio, something his family said was "part of a pattern for the past several months."
A representative then told People: "Frankie is saddened by these unfortunate events and appreciates that his privacy will be respected as he works out these family issues."
Emilio's filing stated that his family believes Francesco to be "addicted to opiates" and that his father had been financially supporting him on the condition he agreed to enter a residential drug treatment facility.
Francesco - a bit-part actor who has starred in films like The House Bunny and the television series Full House as a youngster - then destroyed his father's property, then stole and sold his personal items, according to the filing.
Frankie shares Francesco and his twin sons Emilio and Brando with his ex-wife Randy Clohessy, who separated in 2004.
"This was a tough breakup because of the boys," Frankie's friend Stewie Stone told People in 2008, after the messy divorce ended up needing to be settled by the California Supreme Court.
The Grammy-nominated star Frankie found love again, marrying his fourth wife Jackie Jacobs in 2023, who is nearly thirty years his junior.
