Genesis postpone final UK tour dates after positive COVID-19 tests in band

The last four dates of The Last Domino? tour will now be rescheduled.
Genesis have been forced to postpone the last four UK shows of their farewell tour.
The band have been on the road this autumn for the long-awaited Last Domino? jaunt, which frontman Phil Collins has confirmed will be his last with the band.
The concerts were due to take place in Glasgow last Friday (September 8), and at The O2 in London on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

"Following guidance and advice from the Government, it is with huge regret that the final four shows of Genesis’ Last Domino? Tour (this evening (8/10) at Glasgow SSE Hydro and 11, 12, 13 October at The O2 in London) have had to be postponed due to positive COVID19 tests within the band," a statement from the band on their official website read.
"We are working to reschedule them as soon as possible and will announce the new dates through our website and social media channels as soon as possible. All tickets will remain valid and ticket holders will be contacted by their ticket providers."
It continued: "This is a hugely frustrating development for the band who are devastated with this unlucky turn of events.
"They hate having to take these steps but the safety of the audience and touring crew has to take priority. They look forward to seeing you upon their return."

These tour dates have been rescheduled multiple times as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions.
The shows on The Last Domino? tour have attracted rave reviews, with critics praising Phil Collins's vocals and performance, despite him being unable to play the drums due to ongoing health difficulties and having to use a seat during the concert.
Joining Collins, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks on the tour have been Phil's son Nic on drums, and Daryl Stuermer on bass.
