An amazing one-off celebration of Fleetwood Mac's early music will be screened at cinemas across the country this summer.
The special concert will be shown on Tuesday, June 2 and Sunday, June 7, with Mick Fleetwood and a massive lineup of guest stars paying tribute to founding member, Peter Green.
Recorded at The London Palladium on February 25, the special show saw a long list of artists curated by Mick Fleetwood, including Neil Finn (Crowded House), Noel Gallagher (Oasis), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Jonny Lang, John Mayall, Christine McVie (Fleetwood Mac), Zak Starkey, Jeremy Spencer (Fleetwood Mac), Pete Townshend (The Who), Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Rick Vito (Fleetwood Mac), and Bill Wyman (The Rolling Stones).
The house band also featured Mick Fleetwood himself, alongside Andy Fairweather Low, Dave Bronze, and Ricky Peterson.
Tracks performed on the night include Fleetwood Mac classics such as ‘Albatross’, ‘Green Manalashi’, ‘Need Your Love’, and more.
The cinema event will also feature an introduction by Mick Fleetwood, plus exclusive rehearsal footage, and interviews with guest artists.
Peter Green was a founding member of Fleetwood Mac, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame together with Fleetwood Mac in 1998. He left the group in the late 1960s, and has only sporadically appeared in public since.
Mick Fleetwood said of the show: "This one of a kind show was no mean feat to put together and the ability to share and relive the event all over again in cinemas is incredible, for us, as artists, as well as our fans.
"I’m very happy this performance can now be experienced in a big screen format by audiences far and wide all over the globe."
Mick Fleetwood and Friends Celebrate The Music of Peter Green will also be available on vinyl, CD and Blu-ray from October 16.
