They're taking to the same stage once more.
Neil Young and Stephen Stills have a storied history of performing alongside each other, in turn creating some of folk-rock's finest moments.
Mostly known for their time in the countercultural supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - which also featured Graham Nash formerly of The Hollies and David Crosby formerly of The Byrds.
Of course, their working relationship dates back to Buffalo Springfield, who put out one of the most iconic anti-war anthems in 'For What It's Worth' during the Vietnam War.
There have been years of make-ups and break-ups between the two, who most recently reunited in Los Angeles last year to pay tribute to their fallen fellow David Crosby.
Now it's been revealed that both musicians will headline the 2024 edition of the Harvest Moon charity event in October.
For the 2024 edition of the event, the organisers have confirmed that both Young and Stills are the first artists signed up to perform on the bill.
"This event not only brings together amazing musicians and families, but also raises vital funds for two organisations committed to changing lives," said the Painted Turtle Camp executive director April Tani in the accompanying statement.
"It’s a day of music, fun, and philanthropy — what could be better?"
"As the day progresses, Neil Young and Stephen Stills will take the stage for individual sets, joined by other talented performers to be announced," the Harvest Moon organisers added.
"The event will culminate with a sunset performance, creating a magical atmosphere for all who attend. The festival-like day will also feature family-friendly activities, including face painting, food trucks, and much more."
Unfolding at Lake Hughes in California on 5th October 2024, the one-day event sees artists perform to raise funds for Bridge School and Painted Turtle.
Bridge School is a non-profit organisation which helps children with severe speech and physical impairments, whilst Painted Turtle Camp supports children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses and was founded by legendary actor Paul Newman.
Tickets go on sale on Friday 5th September 2024 - you can purchase tickets to the event here.
Neil Young has helped raise funds for Bridge School in the past, putting on his own benefit concert for the organisation between 1986 and 2015, as well as playing at Harvest Moon in 2019.
It's an organisation that's close to Young's heart - he has two children who have lived their lives with cerebral palsy.
Meanwhile, it looks like the 'Heart Of Gold' icon is fighting fit having recently cancelled shows with Crazy Horse in order to recover.
He recently revealed the reason for pulling the concerts, saying: "My body was telling me, ‘You gotta stop.’ So I listened to my body."
"Then it gets into all the legal matters: ‘You got this, you got that, people bought tickets, they did this, they did that.’ I understand that," he told fans.
"What matters to me is the art of playing, and the music. That’s what matters. That’s what people loved. That’s what they come to see."
"But if that’s not there, me going is not happening. My body told me to not do it."
