In the interview, PP Arnold opens up about her previous relationship with Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger and where he got his iconic dance moves, from.

"I guess he was watching Elvis," she said. "You know where I think Mick got his moves from? I think he got his moves watching Black women dance.

It Won't Be Christmas Without You

"I think so, because I saw that they had their documentary stuff, and they had all these videos of all these women – Black women in the clubs, back in them days. And I think that’s where he got his moves. We gave him quite a few as well, because he was funny.

"He used to come to the dressing room. We used to help him – you know, we worked with him on 'the mashed potatoes' and 'the pony' – because that was Tina Turner’s signature move, 'the pony'. That’s how you move across a stage.

"And I think that Mick picked up a lot of Tina’s moves, and I can see that Tina picked up a few of Mick’s moves as well."

She also talks about working with Tina Turner and Barry Gibb, and how younger audiences have found her music on TikTok.

PP Arnold's new single is out now.
