Richard Carpenter announces intimate UK tour: Dates, venues and tickets revealed

An Evening With Richard Carpenter will be an intimate tour of music and conversation.

Richard Carpenter has announced a very special UK tour for September 2024.

The songwriter – and one half of Carpenters with his sister Karen before her death in 1983 – will not only play his most memorable songs, but also tell the stories behind them at a series of intimate live shows.

"After too long an absence, I'm very much looking forward to performing for the UK audiences once again," Richard said.

Carpenters hits that Richard can choose from for the tour include the likes of '(They Long To Be) Close To You', 'Yesterday Once More', 'Superstar', 'Top Of the World', 'Rainy Days And Mondays', 'Only Yesterday', 'Please Mr Postman', 'There’s A Kind Of Hush', 'Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft', 'Goodbye To Love', 'We’ve Only Just Begun' and 'Solitaire'.

Tickets for An Evening with Richard Carpenter UK Tour 2024 will be available from TD Promo or venue box offices this Friday, November 17 at 10am.
