Deaf, Blind, but not Dumb... Roger Daltrey opens up on stage about his health issues.
Roger Daltrey has revealed that he is losing his sight.
The Who's frontman opened up about his health issues from the stage as his band performed at a Teenage Cancer Trust concert last night (March 30).
With his typical strut and swagger, Daltrey compared himself to Tommy's "deaf, dumb and blind kid" as he spoke about his sight loss, The Sun reports.
"The joys of getting old mean you go deaf, I also now have got the joy of going blind," Daltrey said.
"Fortunately, I still have my voice, because then I'll have a full Tommy."

Daltrey wasn't the only one bemoaning his old age during the show, with Pete Townshend also talking about about his knee replacement surgery.
"Maybe I should auction off the old one," Townshend moved. "Elton John had one done, and he wears his as a bracelet. Unfortunately, mine’s in three bits."
The guitarist added that his ailments were "a piece of piss" compared to the kids with cancer they were raising money for.
The Who are still major supporters of the Teenage Cancer Trust despite Roger Daltrey stepping down as the curator of the annual concerts last year and the band played two shows during this year's series, on March 27 and March 30.
Daltrey will continue as a Teenage Cancer Trust Honorary Patron despite handing over his role to guest curators for this and future years.
"The £32 million raised from these concerts has been the foundation for the 28 specialised units within the NHS, as well as specialist nurses and youth workers to be there for a young person when cancer has turned their world upside down," Daltrey said last year.
