Dame Shirley Bassey is the ultimate James Bond singer.
She's the only person to have performed more than one 007 theme, singing the title tracks for Goldfinger in 1964, Diamonds Are Forever in 1971 and Moonraker in 1979.

So it's absolutely fitting that Dame Shirley will open the 2022 BAFTA Film Awards ceremony to mark the 60th anniversary of the film series.
It's not yet known which Bond theme Dame Shirley will sing, or even if it will be one originally performed by another artist. The song will only be revealed on the night of the show.
After repeated production issues, a change in director, and delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 25th "official" Bond film No Time To Die was finally released last year.
The film was Daniel Craig's fifth and final outing as James Bond, and its theme song was sung by Billie Eilish.
It was written by Eilish with her brother Finneas O'Connell, and features orchestral arrangements by Hans Zimmer and and guitar from Johnny Marr, formerly of The Smiths.
Also confirmed to perform at the awards is Emilia Jones, who will reprise her cover of Joni Mitchell's 'Both Sides Now' as featured in her acclaimed movie CODA.
