Eagles videos are coming in high definition – trailer
Steely Dan have bee supporting Eagles on their farewell tour.
Steely Dan have stepped away from their support spot on the Eagles' Long Goodbye farewell tour.
The band were booked as the main openers for the 'Hotel California' giants as they looked to wind up their touring career.
However, Steely Dan have not played on the most recent tour dates, amid reports that frontman Donald Fagen has been hospitalised.
The group has been replaced by different opening acts on recent tour dates, including Sheryl Crow and the Steve Miller Band.
The Steve Miller Band will continue as main support for upcoming live shows in Detroit and Cleveland, while the Eagles own touring member Vince Gill will play ahead of the band in Pittsburg.
A source has told Rolling Stone that Donald Fagen is no longer in hospital and expects to return to the road soon.
While the Steely Dan and Eagles website has not confirmed the return of the Dan to the tour, it's possible that they could be back in time for the show at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on November 2.
