The Who aren't calling the shots but they're still happy to do their bit.
The Who have been a regular fixture at the Teenage Cancer Trust benefit concerts for a quarter of a century now.
That made perfect sense as the group's frontman Roger Daltrey was not just an ambassador for the charity but also the curator of the annual event.
That all changed last year when Daltrey announced that he was stepping down from that part of his role, and with The Who constantly hinting at a potential retirement you might have expected them to sit this year out.
But Roger is still a Teenage Cancer Trust Honorary Patron and he and The Who are clearly more than happy to do their bit, playing not one but two shows for the charity this spring.
The band will play Thursday, March 27 and Sunday, March 30 in the 2025 run of concerts, which as ever will take place at the Royal Albert Hall.

Other artists booked for this year's events, which have been guest curated by GK Barry, include Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, The Corrs, James Arthur, and comedian Micky Flanagan.
"These concerts, brainchild of – and driven by - the legendary Roger Daltrey since 2000, have raised a phenomenal £34 million to fund Teenage Cancer Trust’s work across the UK," said Chief Executive of Teenage Cancer Trust Kate Collins.
"These gigs would not exist without Roger, who remains a tireless Honorary Patron for the charity and is unstoppable in his support for young people with cancer."
Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 31 at 9am.
