The Zombies' Colin Blunstone still regularly tours despite nearing his 80th birthday.

The singer and keyboard player is the sole founding member of the group still playing live with the band after Rod Argent retired from the road last year following a stroke.

And as well as keeping The Zombies' flame alive for the older generation, Colin continues to inspire the up and coming stars of today.

Perfect evidence of that came at the weekend when Blunstone was invited on stage by Finneas, the brother and musical partner of Billie Eilish and a solo star in his own right.

Finneas had already covered The Zombies' 'Time of the Season' for Australian radio earlier in the year before he introduced Colin to sing it with him in concert.

A post on the official Zombies Instagram account read: “An unforgettable moment.

"Colin joined the incredibly talented @finneas on stage at the Hollywood Palladium for a special performance of Time of the Season — a song that’s resonated for over 55 years.

"Huge thanks to Finneas for bringing this classic to life in a whole new way!"

Finneas had said after his previous radio cover of the song: "This is a song I’ve loved over the past year.

"I've heard it for years, but I think this year is the year that I've listened to it the most. I think if you're a creator, you hope that you make a piece of work that feels prescient and somehow also feels timeless.

"I don't know how 'Time of the Season' felt to listen to in the '60s, but it sure holds up in my mind in 2025."
