Eric Idle announces new UK tour: Dates, venues, ticket details revealed

Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, Live!

Eric Idle lives in Los Angeles these days, but even into his 80s he's not hung up his touring boots.

After tripping around Australia and New Zealand, the Monty Python legend brings his new show Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, Live! to the UK this September.

Fans have been promised a night of "everything including Comedy, Music, Philosophy and one fart joke".

There will also be tributes to late friends George Harrison and Robin Williams, as well as Idle's Rutles' co-creator Neil Innes.

Tickets for the new live dates go on sale this Friday, April 4 at 10am via BookingsDirect.com.
