The actress has been performing as a singer for over 50 years.
Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter has shared an incredible throwback swimsuit picture on social media to mark her release of new music.
The 72-year-old actress revealed that the 1970s snap was used as inspiration for the cover of her new single 'Pink Slip Lollipop,' due to be released on June 21, 2024.
Carter has previously discussed her love for music, and how her passion pre-dates the worldwide fame she found when she was cast as Wonder Woman in 1975.
"I've been singing for over 50 years. I started singing in clubs when I was 14, and was writing music before I became an actor," she told People.
Speaking in February 2024, Carter spoke about songwriting, and the song 'Letters From Earth' she wrote after the death of her husband of 37 years, Robert A Altman, in 2021.
"The soul of the song is about how you miss a person so much, because they're such a presence in your life that it's almost impossible to imagine that you won't physically see them again in this life," she explained.
"You wonder, 'How can I communicate with you? Where are you? You didn't just die — there's too much of you left on this earth, too many people that love you.'"
Robert died in Baltimore on February 3, 2021 due to apparent complications from a medical procedure.
Speaking about her husband after his death, Lynda wrote on social media:
"One week ago, my beloved husband Robert A. Altman passed away.
"Robert is the love of my life and he always will be," adding: "We shared the passion I hope everyone is lucky enough to experience in their lifetime. We protected each other and were each other's champions always."

Lynda had two children with Robert, Jessica Altman, 33, and James Altman, 36, both lawyers.
"We have always been grateful for the two beautiful lives we created together: our children, Jessica and James.
"They are the lights of my life, and were the greatest joy of Robert's. I see so much of Robert in them, and I know he lives on through them," she added.
